Well, Altra have done some natural selection of their own and the evolution of the Lone Peak is one which we love, taking a strong shoe and making it even better with every new iteration, and the Lone Peak 5 is no different. The evolution includes a change in midsole foam from A-Bound to Altra EGO for an extra level of response over all types of terrain. The MaxTrac outsole remains as grippy as ever and the StoneGuard has been trimmed down and increased its coverage meaning stronger protection for less weight.
